The iResearch Atlanta space is located in a 9-story medical office building in downtown
Decatur. The project consisted of a full demo and build back including mechanical,
electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.

This project had its own unique challenges; the largest obstacle was the design called for an
open ceiling which usually is not an issue, but we were simultaneously building out the
second floor as a completely different project with its own schedule. This took significant
coordination between sites and schedules. The floor above had over 55 core holes and all
new cast iron plumbing to be routed in the space below. During the buildout we had to
rough in overhead MEP’s while coordinating as-builts with the space above and all under
slab MEP’s.

We were able to achieve a modern open ceiling look while ensuring full functionality of
MEP’s for the suite above.

iResearch also had very specific needs for electrical service and supplemental HVAC. Since
they operate on a 24-hour basis, we had to work closely with the engineering team to verify
medical equipment power requirements and how to route supplies and returns to maximize
overnight air supplies.

Paryani Construction was able to work through numerous client driven changes and still
deliver the final space within budget.
