The Neurostudies construction project was a challenging undertaking due to the specialized nature of the facility. The project involved a full demo and build-back of the space, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. One of the most significant aspects of the project was the installation of specialized systems for clean rooms, infusion hoods, processing labs, and drug storage.

The space required an ISO 8 rated clean room for an infusion hood, which required careful planning and execution to ensure the space met the necessary standards. In addition to the clean room, the project also included the installation of processing labs, centrifuge rooms, and multiple new bathrooms and showers. These features were critical to the facility’s function and required a great deal of attention to detail in their design and installation.

The project also included the installation of an auxiliary natural gas generator with an automatic transfer switch, which provided backup power to additional air handling units in case of an outage. This was essential to ensure the safety and stability of the facility.

Despite the complexity of the project, our team was able to successfully deliver a fully functional and aesthetically pleasing facility that met all of the client’s requirements.
